Luigi Will Provide
"Wherever he goes in the neighborhood, we follow him. Any other spot he opens up, we actually migrate to him. There’s nobody that can make a pizza like him. Nobody. Wherever he goes, he leaves like a legacy. So now he’s here and everybody—we come here—2 o’clock, 4 o’clock in the morning. We basically live here. And I live all the way up in Spanish Harlem and I work down here, but, my pizza’s always here. This is my pizza guy. Every pizza is fresh. You can't get better than this. This is New York and this is the heart of the Lower East Side. Luigi—that's what we call him Luigi—his spot is the best spot you could ever have. And he'll tell, 'I'll make a pizza and if you don't like it, you don't have to eat it.' But we always wind up here. His prices are fair for the working man, for the poor students, and our kids. A kid can come in with two dollars, even if he’s 50 cents short, or a dollar—Luigi will provide."
