Casual but Zany
"I love it. It's the best kind of atmosphere for New York food as far as I’m concerned. It's like casual but zany and kind of independent. Everyone's doing their own thing but you kind of have that rapport with people and you share that common link I guess, that's different if say you're ordering dinner at a sit-down place or whatever—a lotta the times they pretend that they love the menu and they know what's going on but, you know, they're bullshitting half the time. At most pizzerias when you have this personal experience—unfortunately a lot of that's been lost in New York and you have a grunt behind the counter who's getting paid shit, and you know, that's not good for anybody. But we really like to keep that rapport going and it keeps everybody happy on both sides of the counter."
